Kaylyn Wright had already done the hard work of building a brand worth noticing.

She had years of industry experience under her belt, a distinctive visual identity, and a clear point of view on what elevated residential design should feel like. What she didn't have was an onboarding process that matched the standard she'd set everywhere else.

Kaylyn had a structured process with twelve steps, and eight of them were built out. The other four had been sitting unfinished, and the copywriting felt impossible to push through alone. She was on the cusp of a website launch and needed someone who could help her close the gap to feel ready, and for it to happen quickly, clearly, and without adding more to her plate.

THE APPROACH

We started with a 90-minute strategy session to map her full client journey, identify the opportunities, and decide exactly what needed to exist before her site went live. Once the workflow was defined, we got to work writing the content that would communicate her business to prospective clients. This included Kaylyn’s services, timelines, deliverables, investment, and FAQs.

Then came the part most designers skip: honoring what she'd already invested in. We wove her existing brand elements throughout every document so that the finished materials felt like a natural extension of the Dwell Wright brand.

What we made in a single focused day:

Client Investment Guide A 10 page spread outlining the Dwell Wright experiences, and answering questions to help clients self-qualify before moving forward with a discovery call.

Interior Design Proposal A plug-and-play proposal template, sharing the projects goals, the design investment, and next steps in working together, making it easy to say yes!

Client Welcome Guide A warm client welcome guide, reviewing how to best work together, the project timeline, what to expect, and the payment schedule, to streamline communication and serve as a reference point throughout the project.

✔ Brand Questionnaire A branded form to gather aesthetic preferences, lifestyle needs, ensuring the project details are always accessible, and serving as a way to review client data over time.

All assets created with hyperlinks to the next step to keep the client process flowing, and require minimal back and forth.

“This was my first time doing anything like this, and I was pretty nervous it wouldn't be worth my investment. Hiring her help was the best money I've spent for my business in a long while.”

Dwell Wright Interiors

In Kaylyn’s Own Words…

"You helped finalize the entire onboarding phase of my process, which was huge. I was stuck and couldn't get through it by myself. You helped narrow in on pricing structures that would work for me and encouraged me to charge more for my expertise. You created critical pieces of collateral that add credibility and transparency to my process. That has been a huge weight off of me."

It’s easy to focus on the marketing side when growing, but what happens after the client books is often overlooked.

Kaylyn approached this exactly right. By ensuring her client’s experience is aligned with the brand presence that she was creating, Kaylyn was able to launch confidently and feel ready to welcome the projects to come. If your client experience doesn't yet reflect the quality of your actual work, that gap may be costing you more than you think.
